HEARTWORM AWARENESS MONTH
Did you know that testing for heartworms is very important to have done annually? Unless your vet deems more frequent testing is needed, because heartworm disease is serious and progressive.
So what does that mean for me and my pet?
Well, the earlier it is detected, the better the chances that your pet will recover. There are few, if any, early signs of disease when a dog, or cat is infected with heartworms, so detecting their presence with a heartworm test very important. The test requires just a simple blood draw from your pet and we can process the heartworm tests right in here in our office with nearly immediate results!
